Dr. Theresa Roller
Dr. Theresa Roller
Dr. Theresa Roller grew up in Maryland where her love of animals was ignited at the age of 5 by watching a zoo vet television show. Her first hand-on experience was volunteering at a pet store at the age of 12. She ended up working jobs that were animal related for the rest of her life and attended Virginia Tech, graduating in 1993 from VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
She is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, and the American Ferret Association. Her background as a grooming assistant, kennel technician, veterinary technician, wildlife refuge volunteer, animal nutrition research volunteer, career day speaker, and dog show volunteer has given her a broad base of experience.
Dr. Roller has enjoyed at least 50 exotic animal encounters in different parts of the United States. She is active at her church along with her husband and enjoys spending time with her three boys, her dog and hermit crab. Her other interests include hiking, photography, and cooking.
